Microsoft Access IT Training

Microsoft Access

Prerequisites: The following courses should be attended in the order listed.

Designing and Creating a Database

1 Day Course

This course is ideal for existing users of databases as well as those hoping to start building their own database. The user is shown the concept behind database design and will design and build a basic database complete with queries to search for information within the database, forms to input data and reports to print off the results.

Creating Complex Queries, Forms and Reports

1 Day Course

This course takes query design further than that covered in the Introduction course and looks at more complex queries, forms and reports to add further functionality to your database. The emphasis on this course is on queries and how you can effectively extract data from your database. Users are also taught how to create a menu driven navigation system.

If it is diffcult removing staff from the workplace for a full day, half day sessions can be organised with different groups am and pm
