Prerequisites: The following courses should be attended in the order listed.
This course will build the foundations of working with this powerful project management package and guide you through the process of setting up a project: change working times by creating calendars, understand effort and resource-driven tasks, inserting and linking tasks and changing inter-task dependencies.
Delegates will be introduced to assigning individual and group resources, adding costs and an overview of baselining and tracking.
Delegates will learn how to add fixed costs to a project plan, use the Cost Rate Table, work with multiple projects, identify critical paths, work with resource overallocation, create interdependencies between projects, calculate earned value, work with different tables and views, create multiple baselines and use interim plans.
In addition, delegates will learn how to track progress and update plans with duration and costs, import and export data and create custom filters, tables and reports.
If it is diffcult removing staff from the workplace for a full day, half day sessions can be organised with different groups am and pm
